TxFlow L1, a Layer 1 blockchain focused on on-chain financial applications, has launched its second application: Probly, a prediction market built on the TxFlow Improvement Protocol 3 (TIP3). The platform goes live with 172 markets covering over 7,000 events, including short-duration markets as brief as five minutes for assets like BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP. All settlements occur directly on TxFlow L1 and are paid out in USDC, with no separate claim step required.
Expanding the Ecosystem Beyond DEX
TxFlow L1’s first application was TxFlow DEX, a central limit order book decentralized exchange for perpetual trading. Probly now adds prediction markets to the network, marking a shift from a single-application chain to a multi-application financial ecosystem. The TxFlow Improvement Protocol framework defines standards for different financial products: TIP1 for spot markets, TIP2 for derivatives, and TIP3 for prediction markets. Future protocols (TIPn) remain open for real-world assets and structured products.
How Probly Works
Probly uses TxFlow L1’s DAG-based parallel execution and multi-threaded processing to handle non-conflicting transactions simultaneously. Markets are resolved via designated oracles; price-source markets settle automatically, while manually adjudicated markets settle within 24 to 72 hours. Probly’s interface includes discovery tools for trending and fast-moving events, and lightweight polls for quick engagement. Users can access the platform through an email-based embedded wallet (no seed phrase) or connect wallets like MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Phantom, and Uniswap Wallet.
A Different Infrastructure Approach
Probly differentiates itself from platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi by operating entirely on a Layer 1 blockchain designed for financial applications, rather than a general-purpose network or off-chain settlement. All market activity and settlement records are on-chain, providing transparency and verifiability.
