The Solana-based NFT brand Claynosaurz has released its first three animated micro-episodes on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV, marking one of the earliest instances of a Web3 project breaking into mainstream streaming platforms. The move triggered a sharp market response, with the collection's floor price surging to around 25 SOL on Magic Eden, briefly making it the top Solana NFT collection by that metric.
From crypto winter to Prime Video
Claynosaurz launched as a collection of 10,222 unique 3D clay dinosaur characters in November 2022, during the depths of the crypto winter. The new micro-episodes, each roughly two minutes long, follow four characters — Flea, Bex, Trix, and Milo — in a world called Claynotopia. Following the announcement, seven-day trading volume hit approximately 6,500 SOL, and the collection's market cap approached $19 million.
Building a cross-chain media brand
The Amazon Prime Video debut is the latest step in a broader expansion strategy. In September 2024, Claynosaurz partnered with Gameloft to develop a mobile game. Then in May 2025, the team launched a new NFT collection on the Sui blockchain, diversifying beyond Solana. Co-founder Cab has described the Amazon partnership as evidence of the brand's long-term positioning, while Amazon Business Development Lead William Morris publicly acknowledged the team's work and hinted at further developments.
What it means for NFT holders
Claynosaurz's streaming debut follows a path similar to Pudgy Penguins' physical toy strategy, suggesting NFT brands can break out of the crypto echo chamber if the intellectual property has broad appeal. For holders, the Amazon launch validates the thesis that the underlying IP may be worth more than the current floor price. If the micro-episodes lead to longer-form content, gaming revenue from the Gameloft partnership, and continued platform expansion, the current 25 SOL floor could prove conservative.
