Bitget has launched Stock+, a feature that allows users to purchase actual US equities directly using USDC and other digital assets. The move, announced on June 18, 2026, integrates traditional stock trading into the exchange's crypto-native platform, eliminating the need for separate brokerage accounts. Stock+ is part of Bitget's Stocks 2.0 ecosystem, which already includes tokenized stocks and a regulated RWA protocol called Reality.
Unlike synthetic products or derivatives, Stock+ provides real ownership of underlying shares executed through regulated brokers. Users are eligible for cash dividends and stock split adjustments, and can trade during US pre-market, regular, and after-hours sessions. The feature also supports inbound stock transfers from participating brokers, allowing users to consolidate existing US equity holdings within a single portfolio.
Bridging Crypto and Traditional Finance
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen emphasized that access alone is insufficient; ownership is key to bridging financial markets. "The platforms that succeed will be the ones that combine access, ownership, and flexibility in a single experience," she said. Stock+ enables users to fund accounts with digital assets, convert them to USDC, and gain exposure to publicly listed companies without the fragmentation of traditional infrastructure.
Bitget has listed over 500 leading US stocks and ETFs, including SpaceX, Tesla, and NVIDIA, with the Assets Under Management of its tokenized rToken products exceeding $50 million. The exchange serves over 125 million users and offers access to more than 2 million crypto tokens alongside tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, and precious metals.
Pricing and Availability
To celebrate the launch, Stock+ trading fees start at 0.1%, with a 50% promotional discount available through August 31, 2026. The feature is accessible through Bitget's platform, furthering the exchange's vision of a Universal Exchange where crypto and traditional financial markets coexist within a single account.
