Are there any alternatives to ETH for network fee on Ledger?

Christina BaileyJun 20, 2025 · 2 months ago3 answers

I'm using a Ledger wallet for my cryptocurrency transactions and I find the network fees for ETH quite high. Are there any alternative cryptocurrencies that I can use for network fees on Ledger that have lower fees?

Absolutely! If you're looking for alternative cryptocurrencies with lower network fees for your Ledger transactions, you might want to consider using Binance Coin (BNB). BNB is the native cryptocurrency of the Binance exchange and it can be used to pay for network fees on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The fees on BSC are generally lower compared to ETH, making it a cost-effective option for your transactions.

LTC is known for its faster block generation time and lower transaction fees compared to ETH. By using LTC for network fees on your Ledger wallet, you can potentially save on fees and enjoy quicker transaction confirmations.
