- denverskillOct 24, 2022 · 3 years agoAs of my knowledge, Apple does not have any subsidiaries that specialize in cryptocurrencies or blockchain technology. Apple is primarily known for its hardware and software products, and it has not made any significant moves into the cryptocurrency industry. However, Apple Pay, the company's mobile payment and digital wallet service, does support some cryptocurrencies for transactions, but it does not have any direct involvement in the development or promotion of cryptocurrencies or blockchain technology.
- Angelo Montero JavierJun 13, 2020 · 6 years agoNo, Apple does not have any subsidiaries that specialize in cryptocurrencies or blockchain technology. Apple's focus has always been on consumer electronics and software development, and it has not shown any interest in venturing into the cryptocurrency space. While Apple Pay does support certain cryptocurrencies, it is simply a payment platform and does not delve into the underlying technology behind cryptocurrencies or blockchain.
- sergioJunioroAug 05, 2025 · 8 months agoWhile Apple itself does not have any subsidiaries dedicated to cryptocurrencies or blockchain technology, there are rumors and speculations about Apple's potential interest in the blockchain space. However, these are just rumors and there is no concrete evidence to suggest that Apple is actively pursuing blockchain-related projects. It's worth noting that Apple has a history of acquiring smaller companies with promising technologies, so it's possible that they may enter the blockchain industry in the future if they see a strategic fit.
