  Unfortunately, Coinbase currently defaults to Visa when adding a credit card, and there is no direct way to change this default option. However, you can try a workaround by contacting Coinbase customer support and requesting them to manually change the default card type for your account. They may be able to assist you in setting a different default card type, such as Mastercard or American Express.

  Hey there! It seems like Coinbase has a preference for Visa when adding a credit card. While there's no official way to change this default, you can try a little trick.
