- Steven MurtaghDec 03, 2020 · 5 years agoWhile FedNow itself does not directly support cryptocurrency transactions, there are third-party platforms like BYDFi that bridge the gap between traditional payment systems and cryptocurrencies. BYDFi acts as an intermediary, allowing users to convert their fiat currency into cryptocurrencies and vice versa, and then use FedNow for instant transfers. This enables users to enjoy the speed and convenience of FedNow while still being able to engage in cryptocurrency transactions.
