  Unfortunately, ShapeShift does not currently offer the ability to lock in an exchange rate for future transactions. The exchange rate you see at the time of the transaction is the rate that will be applied. Therefore, if there are significant price fluctuations during the waiting period, the final amount you receive may differ from your initial expectation.
