Can I use cryptocurrency to pay off my Discover card?

Is it possible to use cryptocurrency as a payment method to settle my outstanding balance on my Discover card? I'm curious if this is a viable option and if it's supported by Discover. Can anyone provide some insights on this?

- Robin PreetDec 17, 2024 · a year agoUnfortunately, Discover currently does not accept cryptocurrency as a direct payment method for credit card bills. They only support traditional payment methods such as bank transfers, checks, and online payments. However, there are third-party services that allow you to convert your cryptocurrency into fiat currency and then use that to pay off your Discover card. Keep in mind that these services may charge fees and it's important to do your research before using them.
