Can I use Google Authenticator for multiple cryptocurrency exchanges?

Raul ManasevichMay 04, 2023 · 3 years ago3 answers

Is it possible to use Google Authenticator to secure multiple cryptocurrency exchanges? I want to know if I can use the same Google Authenticator app to generate the 2FA codes for different exchanges. Will it work or do I need to use a separate authenticator app for each exchange?

Yes, you can use Google Authenticator for multiple cryptocurrency exchanges. The app generates unique 2FA codes for each exchange, ensuring the security of your accounts. Just make sure to enable 2FA on each exchange and scan the QR code provided by each exchange in the Google Authenticator app.

Definitely! Google Authenticator is a versatile app that can be used for multiple cryptocurrency exchanges. It provides an added layer of security by generating time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) for each exchange. Simply add each exchange to the app by scanning the QR code or entering the provided key, and you're good to go!
