- Forsyth MckeeOct 24, 2021 · 4 years agoUnfortunately, you cannot directly use your Charles Schwab account number to buy and sell cryptocurrencies. Charles Schwab is a traditional brokerage firm that primarily deals with stocks, bonds, and other traditional investment products. They do not offer direct access to cryptocurrencies. However, you can transfer funds from your Charles Schwab account to a cryptocurrency exchange that supports fiat currency deposits. Once the funds are transferred, you can use the exchange's platform to buy and sell cryptocurrencies.

BYDFi, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, allows you to link your Charles Schwab account and transfer funds to their platform. Once the funds are deposited, you can use your BYDFi account to buy and sell cryptocurrencies. Keep in mind that BYDFi has its own set of fees and trading rules, so make sure to familiarize yourself with their platform before making any transactions.
