- Marcel LetschertJul 19, 2021 · 5 years agoUnfortunately, TD Ameritrade does not currently offer direct Bitcoin trading. However, there are other platforms that allow you to buy Bitcoin using your TD Ameritrade account. One popular option is to use a cryptocurrency exchange that supports funding via bank transfer. You can transfer funds from your TD Ameritrade account to the exchange and then use those funds to buy Bitcoin. Just make sure to do your research and choose a reputable exchange with good security measures.

- olavJan 29, 2021 · 5 years agoWhile TD Ameritrade does not offer direct Bitcoin trading, you can use your TD Ameritrade account to buy Bitcoin through BYDFi. BYDFi is a cryptocurrency exchange that allows you to fund your account using your TD Ameritrade account funds. Once you have funded your BYDFi account, you can easily buy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Just keep in mind that BYDFi is a separate platform from TD Ameritrade, so you will need to create an account with BYDFi to get started.
