It is currently being developed by the European Central Bank (ECB) and is expected to be launched in the near future. Once launched, it will be used in all the countries that are part of the Eurozone, which includes 19 European Union member states. These countries are: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain. The adoption of euro cryptocurrency in these countries will provide a seamless and secure digital payment system for individuals and businesses within the Eurozone.
