- johnnie faganDec 12, 2022 · 3 years agoOne way to avoid expensive transaction fees when trading digital currencies is to use a decentralized exchange (DEX) instead of a centralized exchange. DEXs typically have lower fees because they don't require intermediaries to facilitate transactions. Additionally, you have full control over your funds and don't need to trust a third party with your assets. However, keep in mind that DEXs may have lower liquidity and fewer trading pairs compared to centralized exchanges.
- DovetailNov 09, 2024 · a year agoAnother strategy to avoid high transaction fees is to use limit orders instead of market orders. With limit orders, you set the price at which you want to buy or sell a digital currency. This allows you to avoid paying the spread, which is the difference between the buying and selling price. By being patient and waiting for the market to reach your desired price, you can save on transaction fees.
