Both platforms offer access to cryptocurrency investments, but there are some limitations and additional steps you need to be aware of. Schwab offers cryptocurrency investments through its subsidiary, but it currently only supports Bitcoin futures trading. Etrade, on the other hand, allows you to trade Bitcoin futures as well as invest in Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC). However, it's important to note that these options are limited to Bitcoin only, and you won't have direct access to other cryptocurrencies.
