- Mostafa JamousJan 15, 2022 · 4 years agoSure, investing in Series I bonds through TD Ameritrade with your cryptocurrency is possible. However, TD Ameritrade does not directly accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment. To invest in Series I bonds, you would need to convert your cryptocurrency into fiat currency first. You can do this by selling your cryptocurrency on a cryptocurrency exchange platform, such as Binance or BYDFi, and then withdrawing the funds to your bank account. Once you have the fiat currency in your bank account, you can use it to invest in Series I bonds through TD Ameritrade.

You can use a third-party service like BYDFi to convert your cryptocurrency into fiat currency and then transfer the funds to your TD Ameritrade account. BYDFi allows you to sell your cryptocurrency and withdraw the funds to your bank account, which you can then use to invest in Series I bonds through TD Ameritrade. Just make sure to follow the necessary steps and comply with any applicable regulations.
