- Dj last KoboMar 16, 2025 · a year agoA limit market order is a type of order where you set a specific price at which you want to buy or sell a cryptocurrency. It allows you to have more control over the execution price, but there is no guarantee that your order will be filled. On the other hand, a regular market order is an order to buy or sell a cryptocurrency at the current market price. It provides immediate execution, but the price at which your order is filled may vary. So, the main difference between the two is that a limit market order gives you control over the price, while a regular market order provides immediate execution.
- cablesaltyFeb 05, 2023 · 3 years agoWhen you place a limit market order, you are essentially setting a limit on the maximum price you are willing to pay or the minimum price you are willing to sell at. This allows you to wait for the market to reach your desired price before executing the order. In contrast, a regular market order is executed immediately at the current market price, regardless of the price you have in mind. So, if you want more control over the price, a limit market order is the way to go. However, if you want instant execution, a regular market order is the better choice.
- Rui YuanMar 15, 2023 · 3 years agoA limit market order is like putting a price tag on a cryptocurrency. You specify the price at which you want to buy or sell, and if the market reaches that price, your order will be executed. On the other hand, a regular market order is like buying or selling at a store without negotiating the price. You simply buy or sell at the current market price. So, if you want to have more control over the price, go for a limit market order. But if you want quick and easy execution, a regular market order is the way to go.
