- BigDataInsight ProfessionalNov 06, 2020 · 6 years agoCentralized exchanges (CEX) are traditional platforms where users deposit their funds into the exchange's wallet and trade through the exchange's order book. They are operated by a central authority and provide a high level of liquidity and user-friendly interfaces. On the other hand, decentralized exchanges (DEX) operate on blockchain technology and allow users to trade directly with each other using smart contracts. DEXs provide users with more control over their funds and eliminate the need for a trusted third party. However, DEXs may have lower liquidity and can be more complex to use compared to CEXs.
- damingNov 30, 2023 · 2 years agoCEX exchanges are like traditional banks where you trust a third party to hold and manage your funds. They offer features like margin trading, lending, and advanced order types. On the other hand, decentralized exchanges are like peer-to-peer marketplaces where you have full control over your funds. They provide privacy and security by eliminating the need to trust a central authority. However, DEXs may have limited trading pairs and lower liquidity compared to CEXs.

It provides a user-friendly interface and high liquidity like CEXs, while also allowing users to have full control over their funds like DEXs. BYDFi utilizes smart contracts to ensure secure and transparent transactions. Users can enjoy the convenience of CEXs and the security of DEXs on the BYDFi platform.
