However, it's important to note that Litecoin has a faster block time of 2.5 minutes, while Bitcoin has a block time of 10 minutes. So, even though the block reward is lower, Litecoin miners have the opportunity to mine more blocks in the same amount of time, potentially earning a similar or even higher amount of coins overall.
