- Sharu RajiApr 04, 2021 · 5 years agoIn the cryptocurrency market, the demand curve represents the relationship between the price of a cryptocurrency and the quantity of that cryptocurrency demanded by buyers. As the price of a cryptocurrency increases, the quantity demanded typically decreases, and vice versa. This is because higher prices make the cryptocurrency less affordable for buyers, leading to a decrease in demand. On the other hand, lower prices make the cryptocurrency more attractive and affordable, resulting in an increase in demand. The demand curve is downward sloping, indicating the inverse relationship between price and demand in the cryptocurrency market.
- Saeed PanahiNov 30, 2023 · 3 years agoWhen the price of a cryptocurrency goes up, the demand for that cryptocurrency tends to decrease. This is because buyers are less willing to purchase the cryptocurrency at a higher price. On the other hand, when the price of a cryptocurrency goes down, the demand for that cryptocurrency tends to increase. Buyers find the cryptocurrency more affordable and are more likely to purchase it. Therefore, the demand curve of a cryptocurrency is negatively sloped, indicating the inverse relationship between price and demand.
