How long should I expect to wait for a large BCH transaction to show in my Coinbase account?
I recently made a large Bitcoin Cash (BCH) transaction and I'm wondering how long it will take for it to appear in my Coinbase account. Can anyone give me an estimate of the waiting time for such transactions to show up?

- Terrell BartonJan 06, 2024 · 2 years agoTypically, the waiting time for a large BCH transaction to show in your Coinbase account can vary. It depends on several factors such as network congestion, transaction fees, and the number of confirmations required by Coinbase. Generally, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours for the transaction to be confirmed and appear in your account. However, in some cases, it may take longer if there is high network congestion or if the transaction fee is too low. It's always a good idea to check the transaction status on the blockchain explorer to get a better idea of the progress.
- Marc LefOct 13, 2020 · 6 years agoIn my experience, large BCH transactions usually take around 10-30 minutes to show up in my Coinbase account. However, this can vary depending on the current network conditions. If the network is congested, it may take longer for the transaction to be confirmed and appear in your account. It's also worth noting that Coinbase requires a certain number of confirmations before the transaction is considered valid. So, even if the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it may still take some time for it to show up in your account.
- Sanam RajSep 16, 2021 · 5 years agoAs an expert in the cryptocurrency industry, I can tell you that the waiting time for a large BCH transaction to show in your Coinbase account can be unpredictable. It depends on various factors such as network congestion, transaction fees, and Coinbase's internal processes. Coinbase typically requires a certain number of confirmations before a transaction is considered valid and appears in your account. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. If you're concerned about the status of your transaction, I recommend checking the transaction ID on a blockchain explorer to track its progress.
