As of now, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of companies actively participating in cryptocurrency trading. These companies include cryptocurrency exchanges, brokerage firms, investment funds, and even traditional financial institutions that have entered the market. The exact number is difficult to determine as new companies are constantly emerging and existing ones may cease operations. However, the increasing popularity and adoption of cryptocurrencies suggest that the number of companies involved in cryptocurrency trading will continue to grow.

From small startups to established financial institutions, everyone wants a piece of the crypto pie. Although it's hard to put an exact number on it, I'd say there are at least a few hundred companies actively engaged in cryptocurrency trading. Some of the well-known ones include Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, and Bitfinex. But don't be surprised if you come across new names tomorrow, as this industry is constantly evolving.
