  Unfortunately, bitcoin did not exist in the year 2000. It was created in 2009 by an anonymous person or group of people using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. So, there was no price for bitcoin in 2000. However, if you're interested in the early days of bitcoin, it was initially traded for less than a cent in 2010.

  Bitcoin wasn't even a thing in 2000. It's hard to imagine a world without bitcoin now, but it didn't come into existence until much later. The first recorded price of bitcoin was in 2010, when it was valued at just a fraction of a cent. It's amazing to see how far it has come since then.
