However, the first known transaction involving bitcoin occurred in May 2010, when a user named Laszlo Hanyecz purchased two pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins. Based on this transaction, we can estimate that the cost of one bitcoin at that time was approximately 0.003 cents. Since then, the price of bitcoin has experienced significant fluctuations, reaching an all-time high of nearly $65,000 in April 2021.

I mean, who would've thought that a digital currency could have any value, right? But then, in 2010, someone actually used bitcoin to buy two pizzas. Can you believe it? And guess how much those pizzas cost? 10,000 bitcoins! Now, if you do the math, that means each bitcoin was worth about 0.003 cents. Talk about a bargain!
