  I had a similar issue with my Ledger Nano S not opening the Ethereum wallet. What worked for me was reinstalling the Ethereum app on my Ledger Nano S. First, I uninstalled the app from the Ledger Live Manager and then reinstalled it. After that, I disconnected and reconnected my Ledger Nano S, and the Ethereum wallet opened without any problems.
