  Back in 2008, bitcoin was still in its early stages and had very little value. It was mainly used by a small group of tech enthusiasts and not widely recognized as a form of currency. At that time, the worth of bitcoin was extremely low, with some sources suggesting that it was less than a cent per bitcoin. It's hard to imagine now, considering the astronomical rise in bitcoin's value over the years.

The value of bitcoin started to gain traction in the following years, with its first notable price increase occurring in 2010 when someone famously bought two pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins. From there, the value of bitcoin began to rise steadily, eventually reaching the heights we see today.
