- dmbappybdAug 29, 2020 · 6 years agoA stop limit order is a type of order that combines the features of a stop order and a limit order. It allows traders to set a specific price at which they want to buy or sell a cryptocurrency. When the market price reaches the stop price, the order is triggered and becomes a limit order. For example, let's say you want to buy Bitcoin at $50,000, but you don't want to pay more than $51,000. You can set a stop limit order with a stop price of $50,000 and a limit price of $51,000. If the market price reaches $50,000, your order will be triggered and placed as a limit order to buy Bitcoin at $51,000 or lower.
- Kavwumbi MiningNov 16, 2021 · 4 years agoSure! A stop limit order is a conditional order that combines a stop order and a limit order. It allows you to set a stop price and a limit price for buying or selling a cryptocurrency. When the market price reaches the stop price, the order is triggered and becomes a limit order at the specified limit price. For example, let's say you want to sell Ethereum at $3,000, but you don't want to sell it for less than $2,900. You can set a stop limit order with a stop price of $3,000 and a limit price of $2,900. If the market price reaches $3,000, your order will be triggered and placed as a limit order to sell Ethereum at $2,900 or higher.

A stop limit order on BYDFi works in a similar way to other exchanges. You can set a stop price and a limit price to buy or sell a cryptocurrency. When the market price reaches the stop price, the order is triggered and becomes a limit order at the specified limit price. For example, if you want to buy Bitcoin at $50,000 and set a limit price of $51,000, your order will be triggered when the market price reaches $50,000 and placed as a limit order to buy Bitcoin at $51,000 or lower on BYDFi.
