- NanamiDec 10, 2023 · 2 years agoNo, currently Venmo does not support direct transfers of Bitcoin to cryptocurrency exchanges. Venmo is primarily a peer-to-peer payment service that allows users to send and receive money from friends and family. It does not have built-in functionality for sending cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. To transfer Bitcoin to a cryptocurrency exchange, you would need to use a separate wallet or platform that supports Bitcoin transactions and then send the Bitcoin from your Venmo account to that wallet or platform. From there, you can initiate a transfer to your desired cryptocurrency exchange. Keep in mind that there may be fees and additional steps involved in this process.

Venmo is designed for peer-to-peer transactions and does not support the transfer of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. If you want to send Bitcoin to a cryptocurrency exchange, you will need to use a separate wallet or platform that supports Bitcoin transactions. Once you have your Bitcoin in a compatible wallet, you can then initiate a transfer to your chosen cryptocurrency exchange. It's important to note that each exchange may have its own requirements and processes for accepting Bitcoin deposits, so be sure to check their guidelines before initiating the transfer.
- Pedro ParraAug 30, 2020 · 6 years agoAs of now, Venmo does not offer the option to send Bitcoin directly to a cryptocurrency exchange. Venmo is primarily used for sending and receiving fiat currency between individuals. If you want to transfer Bitcoin to a cryptocurrency exchange, you'll need to use an external wallet or platform that supports Bitcoin transactions. First, you'll need to withdraw your Bitcoin from Venmo to your personal wallet. Once you have your Bitcoin in your personal wallet, you can then send it to your desired cryptocurrency exchange. Keep in mind that transaction fees and processing times may vary depending on the wallet and exchange you choose.
