  Unfortunately, you cannot transfer Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies to a friend using PayPal. PayPal currently only allows users to buy, sell, and hold cryptocurrencies within their own accounts. The ability to send cryptocurrencies to other PayPal users is not yet available. However, PayPal has recently announced plans to introduce a new feature that will allow users to send cryptocurrencies to each other, so it may be possible in the future.
