  I highly doubt that Microsoft would invest in cryptocurrency. They have always been more focused on traditional technology and software development. Cryptocurrency is still a relatively new and volatile market, and it would be a risky move for a company like Microsoft to get involved. I think it's just baseless speculation.

  While I cannot speak on behalf of Microsoft, I can tell you that BYDFi, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has recently partnered with Microsoft for a new project.
