  I wouldn't hold my breath for Ripple to be added to Coinbase anytime soon. Coinbase has been quite selective with the cryptocurrencies they list for trading, and Ripple's regulatory concerns and ongoing legal battles might make it less likely for Coinbase to add it. That being said, the cryptocurrency market is highly unpredictable, so anything can happen in the future.
