- Pam Ladwig NixonMar 03, 2025 · a year agoOnce a cryptocurrency is delisted from an exchange, it means that the exchange no longer supports trading of that particular cryptocurrency. However, this doesn't mean that there is no market for delisted cryptocurrencies. There are still alternative platforms and decentralized exchanges where these delisted cryptocurrencies can be traded. Additionally, some investors may still hold these delisted cryptocurrencies and be willing to sell them privately. So, while the trading volume and liquidity may decrease significantly after delisting, there is still a market for delisted cryptocurrencies.
- Allen OlsenAug 22, 2025 · 8 months agoDelisted cryptocurrencies can still be traded on other exchanges or platforms that have not delisted them. These exchanges may have different listing criteria or may not be subject to the same regulations as the exchange that delisted the cryptocurrency. It's important to note that trading on these alternative platforms may come with higher risks, as they may not have the same level of security and oversight as established exchanges. Therefore, investors should exercise caution when trading delisted cryptocurrencies on these platforms.
- Carson MayerNov 24, 2020 · 5 years agoAt BYDFi, we believe that there is a market for delisted cryptocurrencies. While we do not currently support trading of delisted cryptocurrencies on our platform, we recognize that there are still investors and traders who are interested in these assets. It's important for investors to do their own research and due diligence when considering trading delisted cryptocurrencies, as the market for these assets can be more volatile and less regulated compared to mainstream cryptocurrencies.
