- Salazar MelgaardJun 13, 2020 · 5 years agoYes, there are a few things you can try to avoid the gas estimation failed error when sending cryptocurrencies. First, make sure you have enough gas in your wallet to cover the transaction. Gas is the fee required to execute a transaction on the blockchain. If you don't have enough gas, the transaction will fail. You can check the current gas price and estimate the required gas for your transaction using a blockchain explorer or wallet. Second, consider increasing the gas limit for your transaction. The gas limit is the maximum amount of gas you're willing to spend on a transaction. If the gas limit is too low, the transaction may fail. Finally, check if there are any network congestion issues or high gas prices at the moment. If the network is busy, it may be more difficult to successfully send your cryptocurrencies. By following these steps, you should be able to avoid the gas estimation failed error and complete your transaction successfully.
- Saurabh Arun MishraAug 06, 2023 · 2 years agoOh man, that gas estimation failed error can be a real pain! But don't worry, I've got a couple of tricks up my sleeve to help you avoid it. First, double-check that you're using the correct gas limit for your transaction. If the gas limit is too low, the transaction won't go through. You can usually find the recommended gas limit on your wallet or exchange platform. Second, consider increasing the gas price. Sometimes, the network gets congested, and you need to pay a higher gas price to get your transaction processed faster. Lastly, if all else fails, you can try using a different wallet or exchange platform. Some platforms have better gas estimation algorithms than others. Give these tips a shot, and hopefully, you'll be able to send your cryptocurrencies without any gas estimation failed errors! Good luck! 😊
