- sajalMar 09, 2023 · 2 years agoYes, there is a way to backup Google Authenticator when changing phones. One option is to enable the 'Backup codes' feature within Google Authenticator. This will provide you with a set of codes that you can use as a backup method to access your accounts. Make sure to store these codes in a safe and secure place, such as a password manager or a physical backup. Another option is to use a third-party authenticator app that supports backup and restore functionality, such as Authy. These apps often provide cloud backup options, allowing you to easily transfer your authentication codes to a new device.
