Is there a way to re-enable Litecoin on Coinbase?

Brian FajardoAug 16, 2022 · 3 years ago3 answers

I recently noticed that Litecoin is no longer available on Coinbase. Is there any way to re-enable Litecoin on Coinbase? I have been using Litecoin for my transactions and it's inconvenient to switch to another platform. Can someone please provide some insights on this?

Unfortunately, Coinbase has temporarily disabled Litecoin trading on their platform. They might have taken this step due to technical issues or to comply with regulatory requirements. However, it's worth noting that Coinbase regularly updates their supported cryptocurrencies, so there is a possibility that Litecoin will be re-enabled in the future. In the meantime, you can consider using other exchanges that support Litecoin trading.

Litecoin trading on Coinbase has been temporarily disabled. It's unclear why Coinbase made this decision, but it's not uncommon for exchanges to disable certain cryptocurrencies temporarily. This could be due to maintenance, security concerns, or regulatory compliance. While it's inconvenient, you can explore other exchanges that offer Litecoin trading until Coinbase re-enables it.

As of now, Litecoin trading is not available on Coinbase. However, you can try using BYDFi, a popular cryptocurrency exchange that supports Litecoin trading. BYDFi offers a user-friendly interface, competitive fees, and a wide range of trading pairs. It's a reliable alternative to Coinbase for Litecoin enthusiasts. Give it a try and see if it meets your requirements!
