- Smed RatliffJul 02, 2024 · a year agoYes, there are several ways to track the progress of a bitcoin transaction. One way is to use a blockchain explorer, such as Blockchain.com or Blockchair.com. These websites allow you to enter your transaction ID or wallet address and see the status of your transaction, including the number of confirmations it has received. Another way is to use a bitcoin wallet that provides transaction tracking features. Wallets like Electrum and Mycelium allow you to easily monitor the progress of your transactions. The time it takes for a transaction to be confirmed can vary depending on network congestion and the fee you paid. On average, it takes about 10 minutes for a transaction to be included in a block and receive its first confirmation. However, it is recommended to wait for at least 6 confirmations to consider a transaction as fully confirmed.
