- Rahbek CoxJul 19, 2020 · 6 years agoUnfortunately, you cannot directly use your Google Play credit to purchase cryptocurrencies. Google Play credit can only be used for digital content on the Google Play Store, such as apps, games, movies, and books. However, there are alternative methods to buy cryptocurrency with your Google Play credit. One option is to sell your Google Play credit for cash on a peer-to-peer marketplace and then use that cash to buy cryptocurrency on a cryptocurrency exchange. Another option is to use your Google Play credit to buy gift cards for popular cryptocurrency exchanges and then use those gift cards to purchase cryptocurrencies on the respective exchanges.
