Bitcoin, the big player in the crypto world, has seen its price go through the roof and then come crashing down. At the beginning of the year, Bitcoin was trading at around $7,000, but it skyrocketed to nearly $20,000 in December. Ethereum, another popular cryptocurrency, started the year at around $130 and reached a peak of over $400 in June. Ripple, the cryptocurrency that has made waves in the banking industry, began the year at around $0.19 and hit a high of $0.47 in February. These price fluctuations are a testament to the wild nature of the cryptocurrency market.
