- Ajay MirajkarJul 08, 2024 · 2 years agoWhen it comes to cryptocurrency trading, TD Ameritrade, E*TRADE, Scottrade, and Charles Schwab have their own unique services and offerings. TD Ameritrade offers access to Bitcoin futures contracts on the CME exchange, allowing traders to speculate on the price of Bitcoin without actually owning it. E*TRADE also provides access to Bitcoin futures contracts, as well as the ability to trade Bitcoin and Ethereum directly on their platform. Scottrade, on the other hand, does not currently offer any cryptocurrency trading services. Lastly, Charles Schwab does not offer direct cryptocurrency trading, but they do provide access to Grayscale's Bitcoin Investment Trust, which allows investors to gain exposure to Bitcoin through a traditional investment vehicle. So, as you can see, each of these brokers has their own approach to cryptocurrency trading.
- James KimbleMar 01, 2025 · a year agoAlright, let's break it down. TD Ameritrade offers Bitcoin futures trading on the CME exchange, which means you can speculate on the price of Bitcoin without actually owning it. E*TRADE also offers Bitcoin futures trading, but they go a step further and allow you to trade Bitcoin and Ethereum directly on their platform. Scottrade, unfortunately, doesn't offer any cryptocurrency trading services at the moment. And Charles Schwab, well, they don't offer direct cryptocurrency trading either. However, they do give you access to Grayscale's Bitcoin Investment Trust, which is a way to indirectly invest in Bitcoin. So, depending on what you're looking for, each of these brokers has something different to offer in terms of cryptocurrency trading.
