- dutsisJun 26, 2023 · 3 years agoThe most commonly used quote assets in cryptocurrency exchanges are Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Tether (USDT). These three assets are widely accepted and traded on most exchanges. Bitcoin, being the first and most well-known cryptocurrency, is often used as a base currency for trading pairs. Ethereum, with its smart contract capabilities, is also widely used and has a large trading volume. Tether, a stablecoin pegged to the value of the US dollar, provides stability and is commonly used as a quote asset for trading pairs.
- MacKinnon KeeganOct 28, 2022 · 4 years agoWhen it comes to quote assets in cryptocurrency exchanges, Bitcoin (BTC) is definitely the king. It's the most widely accepted and traded cryptocurrency, and many trading pairs are quoted in BTC. Ethereum (ETH) is another popular quote asset, especially for tokens built on the Ethereum blockchain. Tether (USDT) is a stablecoin that is often used as a quote asset due to its price stability. Other quote assets that are commonly used include Binance Coin (BNB), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC). Each exchange may have its own selection of quote assets, but these are some of the most commonly used ones across different exchanges.
