The purpose of this split was to increase the liquidity of BNB and make it more accessible to retail investors. Following the split, the price of BNB initially saw a slight decrease, but it quickly recovered and continued its upward trajectory. The market capitalization of BNB also experienced a significant increase as a result of the split.
