To engage in day trading, you need to have a Robinhood Instant or Robinhood Gold account. If you want to execute more than three day trades within a rolling five-day period, you must maintain a minimum account balance of $25,000. Falling below this balance will result in restrictions on day trading until the balance is restored. It's important to note that Robinhood does not support trading on weekends or during extended hours. So, keep these rules in mind when planning your day trading activities on Robinhood.
