- Rupanjali SahuNov 29, 2020 · 6 years agoIn the context of cryptocurrency trading, pending cancellation means that the order you have placed to buy or sell a cryptocurrency is in the process of being cancelled. This usually happens when you change your mind about the trade or if the market conditions have changed. While the order is in the pending cancellation state, it can still be executed if it matches with another order. However, once the cancellation is fully processed, the order is removed from the order book and cannot be executed anymore. Pending cancellation gives traders the option to change their trading decisions and manage their positions effectively.
