- dqwfSep 11, 2021 · 4 years agoIf you exceed the cash limit for a Bitcoin ATM transaction, the consequences may vary depending on the specific ATM and its settings. In some cases, the transaction may be canceled if the limit is exceeded, and you may need to try again with a lower amount. However, in other cases, the ATM may still process the transaction with the excess amount, but you will only receive the maximum cash limit set by the ATM. For example, if the cash limit is $1000 and you try to withdraw $1500, the ATM may still dispense $1000 and the remaining $500 will not be available to you.
- lorisAug 12, 2022 · 3 years agoOh boy, if you go over the cash limit for a Bitcoin ATM transaction, you might be in for a surprise! Some ATMs will simply cancel the transaction and you'll have to try again with a lower amount. Others, however, will still process the transaction but you'll only get the maximum cash limit amount. So, let's say you're trying to withdraw $1500 but the cash limit is $1000, you'll only get $1000 and the rest will be left hanging in the digital abyss.

The remaining $500 will not be available to you.
