What is the best way to check the value of my cryptocurrency without redeeming it?

I have some cryptocurrency and I want to check its value without actually redeeming it. What is the best way to do this? I don't want to go through the process of selling or converting it, I just want to know its current value. Are there any tools or websites that can provide real-time cryptocurrency prices?

- Felipe Toledo NevesApr 28, 2022 · 4 years agoOne of the best ways to check the value of your cryptocurrency without redeeming it is to use a cryptocurrency tracking website or app. These platforms provide real-time prices for various cryptocurrencies, allowing you to easily check the current value of your holdings. Some popular options include CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, and CryptoCompare. Simply search for the cryptocurrency you own and you'll be able to see its current price, as well as historical data and other relevant information.
- Lambert SuarezDec 27, 2020 · 5 years agoIf you're looking for a more convenient option, you can also use a cryptocurrency portfolio tracker. These tools allow you to input your holdings and track their value in real-time. They often provide additional features such as price alerts and portfolio performance analysis. Some popular portfolio trackers include Blockfolio, Delta, and CoinStats. With these tools, you can easily keep track of the value of your cryptocurrency without the need to redeem or sell it.
- McCann LoweJan 29, 2022 · 4 years agoAnother option is to use a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform like BYDFi. BYDFi offers a feature called 'Token Balance Checker' which allows you to check the value of your cryptocurrency holdings without redeeming them. Simply connect your wallet to the platform and you'll be able to see the current value of your tokens. This can be a convenient option if you're already using BYDFi for other DeFi activities.
- Anderson FinnApr 04, 2023 · 3 years agoIf you're not interested in using a website or app, you can also check the value of your cryptocurrency by manually looking up its price on a reputable exchange. Most major cryptocurrency exchanges provide real-time price information for various cryptocurrencies. Simply search for the cryptocurrency you own on the exchange's website and you'll be able to see its current price. Just keep in mind that prices may vary slightly between exchanges, so it's a good idea to check multiple sources for accuracy.
