- Neel AndholeJun 17, 2020 · 6 years agoNon-fungible tokens (NFTs) are unique digital assets that are stored on a blockchain. Unlike cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, which are fungible and can be exchanged on a one-to-one basis, NFTs cannot be exchanged on a like-for-like basis. Each NFT has a distinct value and cannot be replicated or replaced. They are used in the cryptocurrency world to represent ownership or proof of authenticity for digital assets such as artwork, collectibles, virtual real estate, and more. NFTs have gained popularity due to their ability to provide verifiable ownership and scarcity in the digital realm.
- amir hosseinDec 25, 2024 · a year agoNFTs are like digital certificates of authenticity for unique digital items. They use blockchain technology to provide a transparent and secure way of proving ownership and provenance. Unlike traditional tokens, NFTs cannot be divided into smaller units and each one is distinct. This uniqueness makes them valuable for collectors and artists, as it ensures the scarcity and uniqueness of their digital creations. NFTs have opened up new possibilities for artists and content creators to monetize their work in the digital space.

They have created new opportunities for artists, collectors, and investors in the cryptocurrency world.
