- Thibault RousseauNov 29, 2022 · 3 years agoIn cryptocurrency, beta and alpha are terms used to describe different stages of development or testing. Beta refers to a phase where a cryptocurrency or a feature of a cryptocurrency is released to a limited group of users for testing purposes. It allows developers to gather feedback and identify any bugs or issues before the full release. Alpha, on the other hand, is an even earlier stage of development where the cryptocurrency or feature is still being developed and tested internally by the development team. It is not yet available to external users. So, in summary, beta is a testing phase with limited user access, while alpha is an earlier development stage with no external access yet.
- ShashikumarJan 06, 2022 · 4 years agoWhen it comes to cryptocurrency, beta and alpha have different meanings. Beta usually refers to a version of a cryptocurrency or a feature that is still being tested and refined. It is released to a limited group of users to gather feedback and identify any issues before the official launch. On the other hand, alpha is an even earlier stage of development where the cryptocurrency or feature is still being developed and tested internally by the development team. It is not yet available to external users. So, beta is a more advanced stage than alpha, as it involves external testing, while alpha is still in the internal testing phase.
