However, such instances are quite rare, and under normal circumstances, Ethereum transactions are usually confirmed within minutes.

  You won't believe it, but I once had a transaction on Ethereum that took a whopping 36 hours to get confirmed! It was during a period of intense network congestion, and it was quite frustrating to wait for so long. Thankfully, such situations are not very common, and most Ethereum transactions are processed much faster.
