Sats are used to measure and transact smaller amounts of Bitcoin. For example, if you want to send someone 0.0001 Bitcoin, you can say you're sending them 10,000 sats. It's a way to make Bitcoin more accessible and user-friendly, especially for newcomers who may find it easier to understand and work with smaller units.
