  As of now, there are thousands of digital currencies in existence. With the rise of blockchain technology, more and more cryptocurrencies are being created every day. It's hard to keep track of the exact number, but it's safe to say that the total number of digital currencies is constantly growing.

  Well, the total number of digital currencies is constantly changing. However, according to CoinMarketCap, one of the most popular cryptocurrency data platforms, there are currently over 10,000 digital currencies listed. Keep in mind that not all of them are actively traded or widely known. Some are just experimental projects or tokens with limited use cases.
